Line Cook

Position Details:

We are looking for high energy team members to be our next culinary leaders. As a Line Cook at DUB$ Brunch Bar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our menu offerings. You'll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating dishes with precision and attention to detail. Your role will be essential in upholding our culinary standards and delivering exceptional food to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation: Prepare and portion ingredients according to our recipes and kitchen standards. Ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients used.

  2. Cooking: Cook and plate dishes with accuracy and consistency. Follow proper cooking techniques and presentation guidelines.

  3. Station Management: Manage your designated station efficiently during busy service times. Maintain cleanliness and organization at all times.

  4. Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and coordinated preparation of orders. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team.

  5. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of dishes and ingredients, ensuring they meet our high standards. Report any issues to the Management Staff.

  6. Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  7. Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, and any specials. Be prepared to answer guest questions and accommodate special requests.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant or culinary establishment.

  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to food quality.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Food handler's certification (preferred).

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Availability:

  • Part time

  • Shifts between 8am- 7:30pm

  • Saturday & Sunday

Hourly Rate:

  • $13 - $16 an hour

  • Based on previous work experience and a culinary assessment of food safety and knife skills.
